Every time I looked at that stupid chrome bar going nowhere, my eye started twitching. The next step is blacking out the rest of the chrome over the windows.

Glad I wasn’t the only one. Now it just needs Volvo Pegasus wheels

This is a significant improvement.

Just needs new wheels and this is the tits.

Unfortunately I don’t have actual photoshop on my computer so I can’t do that, but someone should

And delete all the plastic body cladding...

Meh, I like the chrome. I’d just like a version without the fender cladding:

Just replace it with the V60 and it’s perfect

Poor Buick

The lack of fender cladding and also chrome would be ideal for me

There’s just no reason why it shouldn’t have the V6. Its a roadmaster FFS, it needs some grunt!

Its a Regal, the Roadmaster was full-size.

Seriously, I don’t get the appeal of playing with the Buick when you could just get the already superior V60 for about the same money.

The chrome bar does go somewhere.
It goes into the rear light cluster.
Deleting out the chrome may require painting the chrome on the rear light cluster with black or a body colour.

I didn’t realize that. I still don’t like it, but it is better than going nowhere

Re: the cladding it looks like it’s either bonded or clipped on via plastic tabs like many other vehicles.
May just be a matter of gently teasing them off and tidying it up and removing the glue residue, if clipped on, just a matter of pulling them off, filling the holes from the clips and then painting it.

I’m not sure about the Opel, but the cars I work with (Peugeot 205) the GTi models have this thick plastic cladding while the normal versions do not. The sheet metal is actually different to house/mount the thicker plastic cladding. I expect something similar with the Opel/Vauxhall.

I’m thinking or maybe, for the North Americans, hoping that vehicle manufacturers got lazy since the Peugeot 205.

Move to Australia then...it does here.
